Difficulty level: Intermediate
Instructions are for size 20 crochet / tatting thread. This pattern needs 1 tatting shuttle to make the finished piece.
This shuttle tatting pattern file includes 12 pages of detailed written instructions in English and diagrams for left and right-handers complete with numbers of double stitches required. It also includes how to create the variegated and multicoloured versions.
Techniques used: rings, floating rings, chains, joining picots, downward joins (the opposite of normal joins - explained in the instructions), decorative picots, CTM (Continuous Thread Method), SLT (shoelace trick - explained in the instructions).
