Full description
A beautiful and detailed free motion embroidery of a chaffinch and grasses. The design is made by combining appliqué and freestyle machine embroidery, and, by using different coloured threads, details are added to the chaffinches plumage. The embroidery is sewn onto a gorgeous forest green linen, which is then stretched into an embroidery hoop. The back is neatened by hand sewing on a circle of white felt. A green and white stripy string is added to hang it by.
The hoop measures 16cm in diameter and would make a perfect gift for a bird or nature lover, or as a housewarming gift.
Please note that this is a handmade item, therefore the stitching may differ slightly from the photos, making each one completely unique.
