I hate waste - so designed these storage pots to use up all those pieces of fabric which are too lovely to throw away, and they are so useful. This one is perfect for a desk tidy, pen pot or even make up brushes. This particular storage pot is made from upcycled curtain samples of a cream loose weave fabric nd a swirling aqua patterned fabric It has been decorated with a hand embroidered puffin and coloured buttons for the rocks and pebbles. The pot has been interlined with an iron-on interfacing and lined in a blue striped heavy furnishing fabric offcut to give stability. As I source fabrics whenever and wherever I found them, I’m not always certain of fibre content. Size: 10 cm diameter by 10 cm high

I am a self taught textile artist who works mainly in recycled/upcycled fabrics to make home wares and accessories The inspiration for this was to use up those lovely scraps of fabric which I can’t bear to throw away, whilst creating something functional but fun. We all need storage pots, or even just as something to make you smile.
