About this item
This is Felicity. After leaving school she began a promising career as an apprentice welder but the call of dance nagged away at her. Partway through a course on submerged arc welding she found herself up on points for no apparent reason. Later on she failed her final practical exam as a result of trying to apply the principals of the Vaganova method. Eventually she faced the truth, dance was to be her life. This is an original A4 (210mm x 297mm) sized artwork drawn by myself. It is not a print. It is drawn on an off white heavyweight watercolour paper (I forget which make) using pigment liner pens and arist quality acrylic paints. The shading is done with diluted Indian ink.

She just popped out of my head and onto the page. I'm surprised she didn't just dance right off of it. I think she's happy. Dancing does that to you.
What buyers say about Tiny Penguin
I'm delighted with this fun drawing! I've been a fan of Steve's work for years and I'm really enjoying this current round of his pen drawings. I love the theme of interpreting what one dog and his human get up to and as a rescuer of cats, this drawing had particular appeal for me. The details are wonderful and it makes me chuckle whenever I see it! My drawing arrived carefully packaged and ready to frame. I highly recommend Steve both as an artist and Folksy seller, and encourage everyone to follow and purchase a piece of his unique, wonderful art.
