About this item
Horse chestnut conker leaf suncatcher made in opaque streaky glass by Carole’s Glass. I love autumn when all the trees are changing colour. This is a new design for me. The horse chestnut or conker seem to be the first trees to loose their leaves so what’s better than to have your own autumnal coloured leaf. These have been made using of red/white/amber streaky opaque stained glass. It looks browny red but when held up with the light behind it appears more red. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again. Twisted tinned wire has been used for the stalks and hanging ring at the end. I have also added veins using tinned copper wire. This will look equally as nice whichever way around you want to hang it. This measures 13.5cms wide x 13cms high, excluding the wire stalk. I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window. I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Please note Royal Mail have increased their postage costs yet again. I send all my suncatchers through Royal Mail using Tracked 24 with/without signature and in some instances, depanding on value, Royal Mail Special Delivery. I have always found their service to be reliable and generally arrives the following day however I appreciate they are getting very expensive, so if you would prefer I can send using Tracked 48. Please contact me if you would like this option and note this will take longer to be delivered by Royal Mail. If you would like me to post your parcel by Special Next Day Delivery which SHOULD ensure it arrives the following working day by 1.00pm please see my listing under ‘Postage Upgrade’. Please be aware that I will do my best to post the same day but cannot guarantee this will happen - the listing gives more information. If you are buying an item as a present and would like it sent direct I am more than happy to gift wrap and include a message, just let me know what you want to say and make sure you confirm the recipients address. I normally post ready made items the next working day. If you see something you like but would prefer in a different colour just drop me a message as I am more than happy to make to your requirements.
