I love anything beach, countryside or wildlife related.
Finding an ammonite on a Devon beach was great, knowing many years ago it was swimming around are ocean is incredible.
I decided to make my own, bringing a bit of the ocean into your home.

Stained glass. With a removable solid Oak stand.
This is made from different types of stained glass, opals, transparent and textured.
Each piece is cut, ground and edged with copper foil. It it then soldered together and a black patina added.
It is mounted on a solid Oak stand which has been sanded and varnished with a satin
finish.
The ammonite measures 19cm wide 18cm high.
The oak stand is 25cm wide 5cm high 6.5cm deep.
When mounted in the stand 25cm wide 21cm high.
