Nettie & Prudence Spraggins are twins who once a year leave their home in the hamlet of Puckle on the Widdle and visit their aunts, Heliotrope and Hydrangea, in Picklescott, where they help with the summer rush in the Fosdyke Plant Emporium owned by their aunts. Though they don’t dress identically they both always complement each other’s attire.
