About this item
Mosaic kingfisher. I made this mosaic from tiny shards of stained glass. Each piece is carefully adhered to a Perspex backer. The whole piece was then grouted and mounted onto a custom made solid oak frame. It measures 30cm x 30cm. It is 5cm deep which allows the frame to be freestanding.

Kingfishers are another firm favourite of mine. Their bright colours are spectacular and unmistakable.
