About this item
Each earring features a 15x12mm Fluorite teardrop topped with a trio of sparkly Austrian crystal bicones in the colours 'violet' and 'tanzanite'. The crystals are highlighted with tiny 2mm gold vermeil spacers. The beads are hung from gold vermeil ear-wires. Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold. The Fluorite teardrop is almost clear with a broad purple stripe. These pretty, sparkly earrings would make a lovely birthday present, anniversary gift, bridesmaid gift, or as a thank you for someone special. Hand crafted (by me!) in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon, UK. These drop earrings measure approximately 1.35 inches (3.5cm), excluding the wires. Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag. Price includes delivery within the UK.

Fluorite has been called 'the most colourful mineral in the world' because it can be found in all colours of the spectrum. A translucent stone, most commonly found in shades of green, purple, yellow, and blue. Fluorite was associated with the Roman goddess Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom. It was thought to stimulate the brain, bringing harmony, clarity and calm.
Contains small parts, not suitable for children.
Ear wires are stamped '925' to denote gold vermeil.
