The background fabric for the card has been printed using rusty objects. They are rolled up in the fabric and boiled so the pattern transfers onto the fabric and it is then thoroughly washed and dried before using. These backgrounds are perfect for embroidering onto, and I often draw inspiration for my embroidery from my garden and during my daily walks in the beautiful New Forest.

Full description
This beautiful card has been embroidered by hand onto rust printed fabric. The embroidery design is of daisy style flowers in blue on a lovely rich orange/tan background - the rust elements in the water give the hand dyed fabric this beautiful colour. The card is perfect for a special occasion, or perhaps framing it as it is. It has been mounted on a card base and is surrounded by an embossed square. The card has been left blank for your own message.
Please note this is a unique item that has been hand made. The colours may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
The card measures 12cm x 12cm square and will arrive in a protective cellophane bag and board backed sturdy envelope. It will be posted Royal Mail 48hour Tracked. If you purchase more than one item I am happy to refund any excess postage costs.
