A set of five snag free stitch markers made from reclaimed beads for use in knitting.
These Christmas edition stitch markers were designed around the central glass bead in red and white which reminded me of Christmas candy.
Inspired by a broken earring this range of stitch markers is made from the broken and unloved jewellery found in charity shops. They are broken apart, cleaned and dried before being turned into stitch markers and given a second chance of life.
Thin beading wire is used to make the stitch marker loops meaning that they slide easily along your needles with crimps holding the beads in place. They will sit happily on a needle up to 7mm.
Designed by Jo Randall on the Isle of Wight
