Hand dyed pure wool couching thread, dyed with natural madder dye to give a rich rusty red 2.5m long, wound onto a card bobbin. This is a very loosely spun soft single. It really is not suitable for stitching as it is fragile, and tends to pull apart. It is, however, beautiful for couched work.
