Made in Wirral by me in 2020 and adapted recently in 2023, Alison Bailey Smith. I trained as a jeweller in Edinburgh in the 80s and 90s and have been recycling since then, in different places all round the world. I am now back in the UK and recently acquired wires from lots of old televisions so am having great fun with new colours. My work is definitely a by-product of the 21st century & I have been described as a 'techno -cannibal' by BBC journalist Clare English. My career has spanned 3 decades and three different countries since leaving Edinburgh College of Art in 1990. The motivation behind my work comes from being the child of post war parents, Scottish thriftiness and an avid watcher of Blue Peter! I am keen to re-use, re-develop and re-create n my home and in my business.

Very pleased with product and delivery of item. Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter in law. Delighted
Very pleased to have found this maker. The necklace was just as gorgeous in real life as in the photos. Also comes with information about the use of recycled materials.
