About this item
This gorgeous miniature diorama picture features a hare in a moonlit forest, and is inspired by my love of nature, folklore and my time working on stage sets in the theatre. All my dioramas aim to create an alternative little world within a small contained space, something I have always been fascinated by! The design comes from original drawings which have been transformed into layers of laser cut wood, which I've painted by hand and built up to form 3d layers. The scene is set into a pale grey glazed wooden box frame which measures approx. 11.5cm; the scene itself measures 8cm x 8cm. For photography purposes, this item is pictured without its frame glass in order to see the details clearly.

Absolutely beautiful, even moreso than in the great pictures of it. I've bought it as a gift but I am sorely tempted to keep it, or maybe I might buy myself one... Delivery was fast and it was well packaged. Very talented artist!
