Full description
I took this heart design from another pattern I had as I thought it would make a nice stand alone suncatcher.
This suncatcher would not only make a lovely Valentine's gift but a nice present for any occasion without being in the more traditional red.
I have made this using pale blue florentine glass which has a lovely flower pattern and clear Florentine glass which is a slightly larger flower pattern.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and solder together. I have attached a twisted wire surround which is not only attractive but also gives the piece added strength. A small ring has been attached and a length of fishing line for hanging purposes.
This measures cms x cms.
I will supply a window hook with each suncatcher but please remember to wet before pushing firmly onto the window.
