Full description
Crafted from premium grade pine this bookcase includes fixed shelves in a distinct offset configuration that make an attractive but solid unit. Ideal for books, family photos and ornaments the low design means the flat top surface provides additional display space. Three & four shelf versions are also available with wider shelf spacing.
handmade by me in my workshop using mortise and tenon joinery and available in a variety of colours that retain the distinctive grain patterns. Each board is treated with a light coat of natural resin shellac prior to a traditional wax finish. The shellac seals the wood allowing the wax to enhance the grain, protect the surface and leave a lovely subtle sheen. All of my furniture arrives fully built and ready to use, all you have to decide is where to put it?.

Picture 3 shows a version of the bookcase made for smaller items.
