This is part of a series of pieces that have been inspired by interacting forms. In them I’ve been looking at how shapes and patterns push and pull against each other, balancing, leaning, forcing and responding. Although they are abstract, I think they do have a figurative quality in that they explore the interaction of individual elements and how these can shape, mould and transform each other.

Full description
The two forms interact, one can stand independently, the other (the semi-circle) rests against its partner for support. It is high fired black clay, giving it a rich, dark slate grey surface and mat finish. This is a handmade and totally unique piece and due to scale could easily fit into any interior. Size: width: 22.5cm, height: 21.5cm and depth: 6cm.
