I don't know if you've noticed, but I love bees. I watch them in the garden all the time and make sure I have plenty of plants to attract them. The Sea Holly was a particular favourite this year and it was fun to make a print designed around the bees and the flowers.

Full description
Sea Holly botanical linocut print, featuring a tiny bee. Inspired by bees visiting the sea holly outside my kitchen window during the summer. Part of a limited edition of 60 prints.
This print is 5 x 7 inches.
Printed using Hawthorn Printmakers vegetable oil based inks.
Available in indigo ink on 80 gsm natural lokta paper.

Each design is created using hand carved plate of lino carved with specialist tools and printed with a hand held a baren. Every print is unique and completely individual due to its handmade nature. It's always so satisfying peeling back to paper to reveal to final print.
