Handmade earthenware tiles These tiles were made to test clay and glazes and are being sold as end of line pieces in the Super Seconds Festival at 50% OFF the retail price. Please specify the design you would like: Horse - SOLD Robin Scruffy Lurcher (small chip top left corner) Mackeral Slab built in terracotta earthenware and finished with an inked up crackle glaze and an original delft inspired watercolour illustration by House of Hawks. Original watercolours are from a collaboration with images taken from Ben at House of Hawks originals and fired onto my pottery during the firing. Fired to 1060 degrees - strong and robust - please note these tiles are NOT WATERPROOF and will require sealing if used in a wet area. Approx. 13 x 13cm. Great as large coasters, spoon rests or decorative purposes; on a mantel piece as they stand alone really nicely. Not food safe due to the crackle glaze finish. Wash by hand as terrarcotta will absorb water, allow to dry.
