About this item
A deluxe fountain pen in mahogany with gunmetal finials and nib housing. Turned, sanded and burnished to bring out a richer colour, the mahogany was sealed and finished with melamine lacquer for a hardwearing and durable finish. The nib is a medium IPG nib and writes very smoothly. I use a similar pen for work which has a nice feel and balance. You can post the cap on the finial if you choose when writing. The pen is supplied in the velvet pen box shown in the pictures and also comes with two international style ink cartridges (not Parker) and an ink converter if you prefer to use bottled ink.

The mahogany used for this pen belonged to my late father who restored antiques. Who knows if it was from a chair, table, desk or other piece of furniture, All I can say is it has a history that would be interesting if we could unlock it.
