Mari Llwyd hanging decoration for the tree, perfect for your alternative tree or as something a little different.
Mari Llwyd is based on the old Welsh custom of the hobby horse, where folk would dress wear a decorated horse skull and white cloak/covering and go from house to house singing to gain entrance, the occupants would sing their responses back and eventually the Mari Lywd would gain entrance and be given food and drink.
