This piece was the second from a log I rescued from a hedge on a country estate where it had been abandoned, cherry is lovely anyway but this piece has some rare spalting which adds to its character. The bowl is a lovely curving shape and has, as it was turned a little green distorted to a pleasant oval shape. A truly unique piece.

Very pleased with my purchase. I searched high and low for a bowl turned from Horse Chestnut. No luck. And then I found loads on Folksy at very reasonable prices. Nice!

Bought 1 itemSo pleased with this! Bought as a birthday gift from me to me. The grain in the wood is beautiful and I love the way the glass candle holder sits proud of the base. Such a good size too. Really well packaged. Perfect!
