Handmade Ceramic Hare pendant in turquoise blue

This pendant features a hare, mountains and the full moon. It is painted in shades of turquoise and brown. As with all my jewellery it is made and decorated entirely by hand. After forming my pendants from fine white clay, I imprint my design. When dry, I sand the back and sides of the pendants and round off the edges to ensure they are super smooth. They then have their first firing. Next I paint them using under-glazes and apply a transparent glaze before firing again to earthenware. Being glazed all over they are smooth against the skin whilst retaining the texture of the imprinted design. The result is a pleasantly tactile item. This is a one-off listing, the pendant in the photographs is the actual one you will receive. The pendant is 37mm, an inch and a half long, and 20mm, about three quarters of an inch across. All my jewellery comes in a hand-stamped box. Matching items are available. the last picture shows some other items from this range. The chain shown is silver plated and 18" long with a lobster clasp. I can put the pendant onto a different length chain, as listed in the options.
