Old and worn fabric that has so much memory and is all full of story often gets put away, forgotten about, these needle wraps have been made to remember and cherish, to be used and not kept for best or fancy.
Please note that while the fabric is carefully sourced, and then washed, the fabric used is salvaged and re-purposed and may have some marks and wear on the fabric often found on vintage linens.
Made from an assortment of different fabrics, little pieces and the smallest scraps, handed down or left over from other sewing, all with their own history. Each patchwork needlecase is unique as they are made with different prints and colours.

Full description
Made from an assortment of little cotton squares, this needlecase is the perfect place to store a selection of sewing needles, and gives any workbox a little vintage aesthetic.
The outer fabric is patchwork, pieced from a variety of different prints and colours and is lined with mattress ticking.. Inside is a piece of vintage wool fabric that has been hand embroidered with a blanket stitch to prevent any fraying.
Between the outer and lining fabric is a piece of wadding made from natural fibres so the needlecase is nice and plump. Needles can also be pinned to the lining, the layer of wadding will help prevent them poking through to the front.
The wool page inside is ideal for storing a variety of different needles, from heavier darning and tapestry needles, through to extra fine straw and milliners needles.
The case is kept closed with a pair of hand sewn vintage snap fasteners.
The needlecase measures approx 21.5 x 12 cm when open (8.5 x 4.75 inches) 10.5 x12 cm when closed (4x 4.75 inches)
