My favourite way to use sea glass in my work is of pictures of the seaside and this one is a classic example. I used a natural pebble for a post and created waves and a sea gull using aqua coloured glass. The beak is made from a tiny piece of orange glass. It's a simple design yet it showcases the beautiful natural coloured glass that Seaham has to offer. It's quite small but really pretty, and the affordability of it means it would make a nice gift for someone who likes something simple yet unusual.
