Welcome to my Folksy shop, Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope a little virtual visit will raise a smile.
All orders are sent via 1st Class Royal Mail standard service. For safety, my final postal date before Christmas is Wednesday 18th December.
Any orders placed after 18th December will not be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas.
Orders placed over the holiday period will be posted on my return to work on Monday 6th January 2025.
The postage costs applied reflect the protective packaging used to ensure your Utterly Pottery goodies arrive in tip top condition. Therefore, should you place an order rest assured, it will arrive beautifully wrapped and protected topped off with colourful tissue paper.
Where possible I reuse and recycle plastic bubble wrap as I find it offers the best protection for my handmade and handpainted ceramics.
I’m always happy to add a handwritten gift note if you’d like to send the order directly to the recipient. Please include the message as you check out.
Many Thanks, Lucy

Made from white earthenware clay, this series of textured brooches are handmade from start to finish. Initially the patterned texture is applied to the surface of the clay using a mandala style wooden block. Each piece is then air dried for several days before being kiln fired to form bisqueware.
Next to the fun bit, applying colour! I hand paint each brooch using a combination of vibrant, contrasting underglazes. Before dipping in a glossy transparent glaze and firing for the final time. A brooch pin is then attached to each piece and ta-da it’s ready to wear!
Each brooch is approximately 4cm wide.
Please note: There is only one of each colour combination available as each brooch is a one off and completely unique due to the making process.
