Turquoise Tiny Blossoms Japanese Rice Bag Gift Bag Reversible

The stunning Japanese turquoise tiny blossoms fabric has been used to handcraft this gorgeous gilded Japanese rice bag, with a complimentary blue patterned fabric for the reverse. The rice bag, or komebukuro, is a drawstring bag that was traditionally made of scrap fabric to carry rice or other offerings to Japanese temples or shrines. The bag is reversible with a turquoise cotton that compliments the gorgeous fabric. It measures approximately 12cm (4 1/2 inches) in height, width and depth. The Japanese fabric has been used to create the tabs to hold gold ribbon ties. The traditional tabs at the end of the ribbon have been crafted from Japanese fabric too. The bag would make a lovely gift bag for someone special, and holds a lot given its size, as can be seen in the photos. It is also available in lilac tiny blossoms.
