I’ve been working with glass for over 20 years. Ever since I first picked up my chosen glass and glass cutter, I’ve been hooked. I am fascinated by the properties of glass, the array or colours and the processes that that can be used to create different effects. There is always something new to learn and new tools and materials to invest in. It really is addictive!
What I especially love about working with glass are the colours. From crystal clear to shimmery dichroic to opaque pure blocks of colour that will never fade or dull.

Full description
Fused glass handmade bubbly flower coasters. These are a set of 2 coasters which come in a gift box, perfect as a gift. Transparent glass with a hand painted turquoise bubble flowers in the centre of the coaster. I use rubber feet on the underside of all my coasters to provide a non-slip and non-scratch base.
To make the coasters I cut art glass into 10cm squares and use specialist paint to carefully paint my flower design. I then cap it with another square piece of glass and fire it overnight in my kiln. The heat of the kiln turns the paint into tiny turquoise bubbles. Transparent glass with turquoise bubbles captured inside.
Two supplied in a giftbox.
Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
Each coaster 10cm square.
