About this item
Tones of amber, gold and topaz give a glow to this starry Beaded Beasties frame. The title comes from the astronomical chart style of the paper that covers the outer mount board with its geometric lines dotted with printed stars and to which more metallic stars have been added along with golden washer beads. In the centre, the background has a golden, hand-marbled paper. The dragonfly is made of predominantly pre-loved chunky beads and has printed acetate wings. The frame's simplicity is what makes it more effective and directs attention to this voyager heading into the future. The 10 inch square (25.5 cm) box frame has a woodgrain-effect finish. It is 4.5 cm deep and has a saw-toothed hanger on the back. As with all Beaded Beasties artwork this is a unique piece.
