I started experimenting with fusing silver to copper a few years ago and I've been trying different designs, I've come to the conclusion that simpler designs work best. The area around the silver wire produces interesting effects where the silver flows onto the copper.

Full description
Copper and Silver Heart Shaped Pendant made from a precut copper shape with a length of silver wire fused to it's surface. The heart is an eccentric shape with one lobe higher than the other and is slightly curved towards the point. After the silver is fused to the surface and it is cleaned and polished it is slightly re-heated to give it a patina. The wire follows the shape of the heart and extends beyond the edge of the copper for about 2.5cm. A hole has been drilled into the higher lobe of the heart to take a copper jump ring. The pendant hangs from a narrow, dark brown leather thong which is adjustable for length by means of two sliding knots. Maximum length 60cms. the pendant measures 6cm to the end of the wire 'arrow' and 3cm wide, the heart itself is 4.5cm long.
