Full description
This is a unique stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This suncatcher is 15.5cm square.
Based on a patchwork quilt pattern made up of triangles and squares in reds and turquoise with a little purple added as I love this combination of colours. At the centre is a very pretty dichroic glass nugget, turquoise textured with a hint of purple which I fused in my kiln.
It has a prettily textured clear glass border and is then framed with twisted wire for strength.
It looks absolutely stunning hanging in the light of the window from the chain which is securely attached to either side of the top of the plaque. It also makes a rather lovely picture if you prefer to hang it on a wall.
This would make a super and unique present.
This piece is absolutely unique. I never make two things exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
This piece includes 28 separate pieces of glass and is 16cms square.
