The secretive and mysterious Hares are intriguing aren't they? Surrounded by folklore, they have a reputation for shape-shifting, moon-gazing, madness and magic!
They are a recurring theme in my work as I keep trying to capture some of that allure.

Full description
Hand stitched brooch with a Hare's head - a little piece of wearable art.
This little Hare was embroidered by hand onto fabric pieces in shades of brown and cream, and then edged with a soft velvet ribbon, which gives the item structure and a luxurious feel. The details are picked out with individual strands of embroidery thread and the whiskers are gold thread. The Hare's watchful amber eye has a glint of mischief...
The brooch measures about 3.5x4.5cms and has a brooch pin with a safety clasp on the reverse to keep it nice and safe. It will arrive in a little white organza bag.
A lovely gift for a fan of our magical Hares.
