Station Cats are hall hand crafted from a slab of black chunky clay, before being high fired. I then glaze each cat, and fire for a second time before attaching the Fish, by wire which creates a hook at the back of the cat for securely hanging on a wall or door. I worked for many years in Vets surgeries, and loved working with cats...they really are so clever and quirky. I like to recreate the cats that I have worked with in the past in the faces of my Station Cats...some look quite grumpy !
