I have taken the last few months off from woodturning to concentrate on my botanical water colour work a few examples of which you can view on my Instagram account. However, I have picked up the chisels again and will be adding new items and old favourites. The latest additions are two attractive sycamore drinks trays but more items to come.
I was attracted to this by the knot in the piece of maple that I selected. This can be quite challenging but I hope you find that my difficulties were worthwhile.

Full description
A shallow maple platter with attractive figuring. It has a dulled melamine finish and waxed. This would be ideal for potpourri through the year or perhaps for more interesting goodies say at Christmas.
