Another one-of-a-kind item for the man who likes something unique!
The handle of this shaving brush has been made from borosilicate glass (Pyrex) into which I’ve made a vortex of dichroic glass which produces this wonderful scintillating gold/mulicoloured effect bordered with yellow/green and pastel reds, and on the outside a pattern of silver enriched glass which produces these metallic yellows, greens and blues – they simply have to be seen in the flesh as they catch the light most when moved!
The brush itself is nickel plated metal (so not ideal if you have an allergy to this metal) and real badger hair, which I am told is the best thing and toughest material for this type of brush. (I am currently trying to source a non-badger alternative as well.) At it’s widest the handle is about 29mm, and I have flattened the top so that the brush can be stood up when wet to dry slowly and naturally for maximum life. From top to bottom this is about 98mm tall. The glass has been fully annealed in a digital controlled kiln for toughness, although it is glass so should still be treated with respect.
As this is larger than my normal gift boxes the brush will be send carefully wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap, and sent first glass – with FREE UK POSTAGE!!!
