I have been a soft toy designer for nearly 20 years, first working designing toys for factory production and in more recent years designing patterns for magazines and appearing as a guest designer on Sewing Quarter shopping television channel. Mortimer is the sixth of my own range of kits and it was my 8 year old who named him Mortimer (he's making a bit of a habit of naming my toys)! My favourite part of this design and the part I'm most proud of is his nostrils!

Full description
This Mortimer Monkey Kit contains the instructions including full-size templates (I hate having to enlarge templates as much as the next person!), fabric, hooks and loops velour tape, plastic safety eyes and embroidery skein to make your very own Mortimer Monkey. Just add sewing thread and basic kit, stuffing and your own handiwork! Plus a Mortimer pin badge comes with every kit.
