Handmade Art Rag Doll

My name is Orla and I’m so looking forward to meeting you. I stand approximately 30cm and am wearing a Navy blue cotton dress with fabulous animal print, and a white underskirt trimmed with copper coloured lace just peeping out the bottom. I am also wearing crisp white bloomers with a copper coloured machine embroidered star trip. My shoes are made of felt with a hard base and pretty white bows. My face has been lovingly hand-painted, with a little painted button nose covered in freckles, soft pink blush to my cheeks and big emerald green eyes. My hair is very straight (I think she made it from tassels!) and my hat matching my dress. To finish my outfit I have a lovely white bead necklace. Whilst I am quite robust and would brighter up any little girl’s room, I do prefer to either stand or sit on a shelf or bedside table just looking pretty and of course I just love listening to all you have been up to during the day. As your new best friend, you can let me into all your little secrets and I won’t tell a soul!
