About this item
I enamel my Musical Note Earrings - Semi-Quaver, petal/droplet shape earrings with a bold motif in black and white on copper, they would make a great gift for friends and family alike with an interest in music. These earrings hang from silver fish hook type earwires giving them a total length of around 5cm (the enamelled shapes are approximately 3cm by 1cm at the widest point). The Semi-quaver Earrings are enamelled in several layers on both sides with firings in between. The motif is applied as the final layer. A mixed colour enamel on the reverse adds strength and durability. The Semi-quaver Earrings are presented in a gift box and sent in an outer card packaging box for protection, by Royal Mail 'Tracked' postage.

I often get my inspiration from my materials and loved the effect produced by these black and white enamels. Musical note designs seemed particularly well suited to using this effect creating a strong statement.
