These Sterling Silver Statement Earrings are for all ladies who love statement pieces. Whether its for a special event or small earrings are just not for you, these earrings will be perfect for any occasion. There are several elements to these earrings, the chain, the carved section and finally the handmade chainmaille sections. Chainmaille is an ancient art form dating back to medieval days, there are thousands of different chainmaille patterns that I'm learning and incorporating into my designs. I've used two different chainmaille weaves in these earrings, created by interlinking individual sterling silver rings to form the chainmaille sections, which are the full persian weave and the mobius weave also known as a vortex, which is the round section of rings at the bottom of the earrings. Fastened with lever backs, the earrings will stay in place until you're ready to remove them. Elegant, stylish and comfortable. Measurements Length 8.1 cm Width 2.8 cm

I started with the carved section and the design just developed from there into these earrings, adding chainmaille and chain until I found the right balance
