Hello and welcome! This page is home to Beaded Beasties: mixed media box frames of dragonflies and other creatures in a mini environment. Each one unique, made from new and recycled materials. I hope you love what you see.

Offcut pieces of the background papers I use prompted me to make these rainbow stripes along with a rainbow beastie to match and even a new, brightly coloured version of the wings!

Brighten your day or someone else's with a splash of colour in this Beaded Beasties dragonfly box frame. Rainbow stripes combine with a rainbow dragonfly to create their own sunshine!
The dragonfly is a colourful character, made from a mixture of crackle glass beads interspersed with small multi-coloured, fire-polished crystals, a 'barley sugar' bead body and a red 'scribble' wire head. It is finished with acetate wings with a printed vein pattern in magenta.
The inner recessed sides of the white box frame are lined with more coloured paper strips; a different colour on each of the four surfaces. The frame is 20cm (8 ins) square, 33mm deep and has a hanging hook on the back.
This is a unique artwork and is an ideal gift for anyone who loves rainbow colours!
