Hand formed from a slab of stoneware clay, this beautiful rustic finish folk style trinket dish is perfect for holding small items of preciousness or for display in its own right as stand alone piece of folk art. A matt finish with impressed and raised patterning, featuring a folk blue bird, tree and flower patterns. It measures approximately 13cm x 9.5cm. It is slightly raised on two little clay feet. Each dish is made individually and so will have its own unique character.

I am inspired by the simplicity of the designs of folk and primitive art, and combining those influences with nature and finding patterns in the simple flowers and grasses of the hedgerow, telling stories in clay and on canvas.
