The joy of seeing those little white flowers in the cold month of January inspired me to paint this mug.
When God created snow, he gave it the task of visiting the flowers of the earth to gather colors. All the flowers refused, until the snow visited the gentle snowdrop. Seeing that the snowdrop was a kind and generous soul, the snow decided to make a deal. In exchange for her color, the snow agreed to allow the snowdrop to bloom first every spring. The delicate snowdrop agreed and cheerfully blooms amid the snow each spring. A German Legend

Snowdrop Jug does not need to be just used for milk you can put cream or a posy of flowers in it.
Farmhouse Jug: 16cm. high x 14.5cm. wide including handle, x 10cm. wide. Capacity 800ml. 28fl.oz. approx
This will be beautifully packaged in a special brown cardboard box and tied up with coloured string. One of my personally designed gift tags will be attached, on which you can write your own message, or I can add a message for you.
My ceramics are made from earthenware clay, painting and glazing in lead free glazes.
Each ceramic piece that I sell really is individually hand-painted. As a result, all my pieces are slightly different and therefore unique.
Because of their exclusively hand-made nature, they take a full five days to produce, each piece having two painting stages and up to three firings in the kiln, so the colours will never fade or wash off.
Care Instructions: This pottery is not oven or microwave safe.
