About this item
Hand painted patterned design light catcher with the word Peace, made using traditional stained glass methods and hand screen printing. The piece is made up of 3 different coloured glass pieces, each with a unique hand design. Its is then fired in the kiln to allow the paint to become part of the glass, and is then leaded up using H section, soldered, puttied and cleaned. This panel is 121mm wide x 140mm high and is supplied with a fine gunmetal chain for hanging . For continuity, this piece has been photographed over a light box, but when hung in a window, will truly come alive with the colours and textures enhanced by the natural light.

Being a textile designer who loves Stained glass, I want to bring texture and colour into pieces by hand painting them and putting them together to make interesting little pieces of work that will bring interest to a window.
