Full description
These letterpress cards have been created in the old fashioned way using handset metal type rather than modern photopolymer plates and then individually handprinted on my vintage press.
The letterpress process involves pressing the card onto inked metal type which leaves an impression that can be seen and felt. To create a contrast, the ampersand on the card has been printed without ink (blind debossed!).
This listing is for 40 (12cm x 12cm) cards accompanied by recycled kraft envelopes.
Black ink on a textured, natural white Somerset cotton card (300gsm).
