Full description
I love fairy tales and drew my first tiny castle over thirty years ago, using very, very sharp pencils. To create this embroidery I've scaled the picture up and worked the design in single strands of embroidery thread on a cotton background. Set in a rich blue oval mount (aperture 11 cm high by 7.5 cm wide) and framed in grey to echo the stonework, this would work well in a child's room or be a lovely gift for anyone who believes in 'Once upon a time...' It would even make an unusual housewarming gift.
Dimensions including frame 22.5 cm high by 19 cm wide.
