I have been lucky to have many tins of buttons, boxes of ribbons and stashes of fabric scraps passed down to me from my Grandma and Great Aunts who are now angels themselves. It seemed fitting to create my own gang of gorgeous Granny Angels based loosely on these lovely ladies but with a healthy dose of my own imagination thrown in.

Meet Granny Angel Miriam in this fun shrink plastic keyring scanned from my original textile art, baked and cut out by hand.
Granny Angels are like superheroes but what they lack in speed, they make up for in life experience.
Miriam has a fitting song for every eventuality and occasion and isn't afraid to sing it. When off duty and out of her angel attire, Miriam likes to wear spotty dresses and a flowery pinny to bake sausage meat pies. She prides herself on having never ever produced anything with a soggy bottom!
Miriam will keep your keys very safe but she’s also work perfectly as a bag charm.
Who doesn’t need a guardian angel close to them from time to time?
