About this item
Turned from a piece of poplar, this particular piece was inspired by days that have gone before. The piece was first turned then hollowed out but left thick at the bottom to add weight to the pot giving it a solid feel. Textured using a wire brush, I then burned runic symbols around the neck and body before adding further decoration by carving lines randomly into the body. To finish the piece several coats of shellac sealer and dark beeswax were applied. This piece measures 6ins x 6ins (150mm x 150mm)
