I wanted to use the last of my springtime colour materials. I have always liked slightly larger coasters as they can be used not just for your tea or coffee cup but placed under plant pots as a doily to protect your surfaces. As I also enjoy patchwork I thought I'd combine all three into one lovely item.

It features stripes, checks and floral strips of material, in spring time colours of oranges, yellows, greens and white. The Coaster has been lightly padded with a thicker cotton layer and is backed in a lovely shade of blue poly-cotton fabric. The border of the coaster is a deep terracotta colour.
