I love owls and I know that some people collect them. I offer a unique owl, no two pieces that I make are the same.

I've sold this one but will be making another ASAP. Please shout if you want one and I'll get one ready for you.
A stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
The suncatcher is an owl and he is really very cute.
Bob, my husband, has christened this owl and given him the name Alf. You are of course most welcome to call him whatever name you want.
He is 5 inches tall and 3.5 wide.
I've used brown streaky glass for his wings and lovely streaky white. all to give an effect of feathers and his eyes are pretty little red beads with a twinkle.
He has pointy ears made of twisted wire and he is sitting on a leafy branch waiting for his dinner. It's a bit chilly outside so he's hoping for something warming. Chicken Kiev would go down a treat but he's more likely to get ratatouille or road kill.
Alf is having a bad day as I've given him curly feathers on his head, made from wire. He looks as if he's flown through a hedge backwards and he probably has.
He would make a wonderful present for anyone and especially for someone who likes owls.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the owl.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
The 5th photo is of the owl I sold previously so you can see that though to the same design, each is unique.
