This lovely autumnal bracelet is made up of reddish brown nuggets of semi-precious red jasper, mounted on steel memory wire which wraps itself snugly round the wrist. One size fits all. Jasper is an opaque and fine-grained variety of quartz, the brick-red colour being due to the presence of iron oxide. In ancient times it was believed to relieve the pangs of childbirth. Unfortunately I am unable to review this pendant because the seller was unable to supply this. Pat did send me an email a couple of days after my order to explain the issue and apologised for not being able to send the pendant. She also issued a full refund.
